Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
Robotic vacuum cleaners and mops are the most efficient method to quickly clean up messes. The top robot vacuums and mops that I have tested have top-notch mapping and navigation, picking up Cheerios, tangled wires and fake dog turds without leaving them behind.
They're also easy to use using an application that lets you plan cleaning tasks and track what they're up to.
1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient robot mop and vacuum. It has the latest features. This high-end model is incredibly fast and nimble and can pick up dirt such as pet hair and human hair almost perfectly in our Debris Pickup Test. It has a sleek app interface that includes an interactive map of your home, as well as buttons on the screen for manual control.
The S8's Dirt-Detection Technology allows it to adjust the cleaning mode according to dirt levels. It will pause and wash its mopping pad more often when it encounters dust while it will prioritize carpeted areas to mop with a damp pad.
The mop roller has a number of other smart features, including docks that can be connected to the plumbing system in your home to wash and clean it without needing to refill the mop. You can even use voice commands to control the S8's built-in voice assistant using the phrase "Hey Rocky" to specify the cleaning of your room, modes, and granular control options with your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
If you're looking for a hands-free robot vacuum that has mopping capabilities the Yeedi Cube is one of the more versatile options. It's among the many combinator robot vacuums that include mops that are also offered at a lower price than the competition.
Like all robovacs, the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it up and running. This involves setting up an app account and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once that's done, though, the robot can start vacuuming and mopping with ease.
It is important to remember that the mapping process could take a while and the Yeedi Cube may need a couple of attempts before it can get a good picture of your living space. The object detection feature is hit-and-miss. It was able to skirt around furniture and other obstacles however, it got stuck on a rug with tassels that it had to flip over to release itself. These aren't major issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those who need an appliance that can do it all.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete delivers a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features an alternating motion that's similar to hand scrubbing. This means that floors are cleaned and not just swept. The vacuum stick that can be detached is a game changer that can get to places a robot vacuum cannot.
This model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni, but with a slightly higher suction power of 8700Pa and some additional clever features. The upgraded RGBD sensor will learn to understand your home better and offer dynamic obstacles avoidance. The app's smart feature allows you to modify a range of settings including AI cleanings and virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo is also self-prepping by having both the robot vacuum and mop returning to their charging station after each task to clean their pads and empty their dust bins and put the waste in the self-sealing bags. This helps to keep the system clean and prevents allergens from returning to the system. The battery's life is enough to remove large areas without the need for a charge mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the premium robot vacuum and mop models that are available, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for the price. It comes with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power, a rotating brush for carpets and hard floors and an excellent obstacles-avoiding. It also boasts a unique mopping method, that uses a roller that is continuously dosed with water to pick up dirt and deposit it in the water that is dirty tank.
Its navigation technology performed well, navigating close to walls without falling and staying clear of stairs. It had trouble with fine debris and didn't always clear the raised thresholds in rooms. The operating level of the sound is also very high, which means this model might not be as easy to set and forget as others.
The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, has a docking systems that allow it to refill its clean water, empty the dust bin and wash and dry the mop, as well as empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance easy and helps the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors in regular schedules. You can control all its functions via the Eufy app. It provides an easy overview and lots of options for configuration.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is one of the best robot mowers available, and offers amazing mixed vacuuming and mopping performance. The LIDAR sensors for mapping can identify furniture legs, obstacles, and other obstacles with reasonable accuracy. robot vacuum cleaners best allows users to adjust the coverage of the map, create no-go zones, or customize cleaning preferences. The Freo's roller brush was designed to prevent hair from wrapping itself around it. This is an issue with a lot of robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads spinning at 180 RPM while applying upward pressure of up to 12N. The mopping system also incorporates intelligent carpet detection, lifting these pads upward when they're in proximity to soft surfaces to prevent contamination of the carpet.
The docking station acts as an unmanned maintenance center that is able to wash and dry the mops, and refills them with detergent and distillate water. The base station comes with an integrated dust-processing system that compacts dust, allowing for 7 weeks of maintenance free operation.
6. S10
A few hundred dollars cheaper than the S8 This robot is a slick job at keeping my home office tidy and is able to tackle the corners of my tiny apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to make a map of your home which allows it to know where not to go. And, unlike many vacuums that can mop it detects objects and obstructions that avoids things like dog toys and bowls (but not poop!).

Other fantastic features include a self emptying dustbin as well as a mop that's self-washing and adjustable for water temperature, and an extended side-reaching brush that is able to reach areas that other mops miss. You can also adjust the settings for each room and create cleaning schedules.
It comes with the same multi-room smart mapping feature as the S8 and is able to distinguish between carpets and laminate with high-pile carpets. It can also avoid cleaning rooms that aren't clean if you want to reduce time. It's a great option when you have a mix of flooring in your home but aren't looking to spend the money to buy Roborock. Roborock with advanced mapping features.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is an excellent choice when you're seeking a flexible robot that can do both regular daily maintenance as well as touch-ups to wet messes. It comes with a variety of features, including a self emptying dustbin and a separate dock to refill water, and adjustable settings that can be adjusted via the app. It's extremely quiet and can navigate between furniture legs and socks effortlessly. However, it can't pick up knotted rug tassels and it's battery drains a little quicker than other models in our tests.
With a price tag of less than $250 and less than $250, the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly machine that packs a lot of suction and a handy automation into a slick design. It wasn't as efficient as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests for vacuuming, but overall it did very well. It has a variety of cleaning options, ranging from the low power 'Quiet mode which is suitable for small debris to the more powerful "Turbo mode" for carpeted areas. It even has the ability to remove and reconnect mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a great two-in-one robot vacuum and mop for those who live in cramped areas. It's quiet and quick, and it does a great job of navigating tight spots. It's also extremely effective at removing pet hair from carpets.
It's smaller than many of its competition however it doesn't sacrifice features. It has a decent amount of suction power and it is able to take photos of every object it picks up (i.e. chew toys or socks) and mark them as 'not found in the app to ensure that they aren't removed during subsequent cleanings. The photos are encrypted and aren't tied to your account.
It does a great job of vaccuming, however it isn't as good at mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes that are clipped onto the bottom of the bot and it basically drags them around the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal models, which come with water reservoirs that automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
